Good service - always smiling, Beside the beautiful view, excellent coffee and reasonably priced healthy cake and food are must recommended!

Unfortunately, extremely poor service by the cafe staff/owner (PRC Chinese couple in their 50s/60s). Brought my 2 year old toddler to the library and did outdoor activities run by City of Perth yesterday. They made a bloody rude spectacle over my child's homecooked lunch, threw nasty comments on how SMELLY her food was and they even wanted to call security for it! I didn't know the whole commotion they made was over my child's lunch until the lady came to scold me at my table before we left. Doesn't matter that I didn't even get to drink the coffee that I paid for. All I wanted was to leave immediately and not let my child witness such ugly sight of humans. And the lady said, it doesn't matter whether or not its a child's food, she simply does not welcome anyone who brings food in. What a "CHILD-FRIENDLY" cafe located in the library! Gee! So stay cautious people, especially parents with kids! AVOID AT ALL COST! No reason to go in and have your day ruined! PS: Btw, they are selling mooncakes now (AFTER Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival) in a western cafe...
Scenery is great, it is a quiet coffee spot however the coffee itself was lacking and overpriced. I ordered a chai that tasted like warm milk. Great to study not to eat.
Wonderful, friendly service from Pattie and Flick, excellent coffee and surprisingly reasonably priced tasty food. All set in the beautiful Perth City Library. Highly recommended!
